Having studied Spanish for four years, I came across this artist (Ximena) when I was looking at the free "cancion de la semana" (song of the week). I fell in love with Normal at first sight, but it didn't occur to me that Ximena had something... different. She had "it", so to speak. She is a singer/songwriter, is a great vocalist, and plays the piano. It's such a perfect combination that much of our music lacks nowadays.
Having said this, "Vidas Paralelas" is not really one of my absolutely favorite songs, although I do like listening to it. The question I have is: when will iTunes release the music videos for "Normal" and "No Vuelvo Mas"? Those are just great songs!

Hace cuatro anos que estudio espanol (perdoname porque no hay acentos, y a veces mi revista te puede parecer un poco extrano), y descubri a Xime cuando descargue la cancion gratis de la semana. Inmediatamente, me enamore con ella. Sin embargo, no me di cuenta que ella tenia el talento hasta que escuche a sus otras canciones. Descubri que toca el piano, escribe sus propias canciones, y canta muy bien. Una combinacion perfecta.
Haber dicho eso... tengo que decirles que "Vidas Paralelas" no es mi cancion favorita de ella, pero me gusta escucharla. La que debo preguntar a iTunes es--Cuando van a salir los videos de "Normal" y "No Vuelvo Mas"? Son canciones buenisimas, y no se por que no los ponen aqui ahora.

Ximena's voice is just like Natalia Lafourcade's They both have a Jazzy feelin' that I love so much, for a second I confused Ximena with Natalia. She has a good future Ahead ... ps. I recommend this video to anyone who loves Natalia this is the closest it gets. ; )
