This has been and will probably continue to be my favorite Madonna music video...and for many reasons...I think it shows a side of Madge that a lot of folks do not see/want to take notice of. The mafia of fans usually enjoy her more up tempo and less emotional music..which is a reason why she lost my fanaticism after the Ray of Light Album. Bottom line, Madonna will always be great, but this is an example of her music (and the visual representation of that music) that stands out above all others for me

Not only is this an amazing song, the video is its own mini-movie in itself. Also, did anyone notice that Robert Campbell was the sexy guy at the end with the pantyhose. Two Words: Rob Sexyness.

  • A "lost" Madonna classic

Directed by David Fincher ("Fight Club", "Seven"), this is the first music video he did that shows his now-signature use of muted colors and noir shadows. Sure, other Madonna videos are more famous, but this one is her most sensitive to date, by showing the dark, lonely flip side of being a sex object. When I meet the Angel of Death, I hope it looks like Christopher Walken.

This song showcases all of Madonna's weaknesses and, gasp, exists only becasue her physical presence is iconic alone. I love Madonna, but this has to be my least favorite release.

This is a beautiful song about a woman's depression and path to self-destruction. The music video is just as stunning as the song, and stars the great Christopher Walken. Madonna looks great as well, the clothes are great working fashion. This is a must-have for any Madonna fan, or anyone who appreciates great and thoughtful music.

One of my favorite Madonna songs behind Burning Up.... The video is iconic along with a sadly missed style of video concept... And how many times have I sang this song after a night out of debauchery while riding the elevator up to my apartment in the heart of NYC.... ;)
